Down Payment/Closing Cost Grant - Up to $15,000 Down Payment Assistance  

Areas: City of San Diego Maximum Purchase Price: $454,100

Condo Conversion Loan Program: Up to 15% of purchase price. Program is for renters displaced by condo conversions.

Areas: City of San Diego No Maximum Purchase Price

Downtown Loan Program: Up to $75,000

Areas: Downtown neighborhoods with the Centre City or Horton Plaza redevelopment project.

Shared Appreciation Program:  25% of purchase price.

Areas: City of San Diego Maximum Purchase Price: State Funds- No Limit  

Federal Funds-$454,100

MCC Program - Federal Income Tax Credit of 15% or 20% of the annual interest you pay on your home loan. Loan Amount = $250,000 x 6% x .20 = $3000.00 annual tax credit or $250/m. May be used in conjunction with the City Down Payment Assistance Programs.

Areas: City of San Diego. Maximum Purchase Price: $505,086-$672,600 depending upon Census Tract.
